Despite being fundementally libertarian and thinking people should have the freedom to pursue happiness,
Despite being rather neutral on monarchy, but feeling it is preferable to ex-politicians,
Despite being indifferent to most religions and the Church of England in particular,
Despite thinking that the Prince's Trust has done much valuable work,
Despite rather enjoying Prince Charles stirring up the chatterati with his unpolitically-correct statements,
Despite being no adoring fan of the late Princess Diana,
Why do I feel unease at this pending royal marriage, and the prospect of Charles as King and Camilla as "Princess Consort" ?
