How's that heating going ?

I haven't made any real effort to tune the heating control, but already I can feel the benefits of the tighter control.

So here's todays situation in the dining room:

Heating Profile

The bright yellow is the set point, which mostly follows the occupied profile because the room was occupied most of the day. The black line is the measured temperature from the ceiling mounted temperature sensor. It's holding the temperature reasonably well, certainly a lot better than when I relied on the TRV. I've set the occupied profile a little higher than maybe expected to offset for the sensor being ceiling mounted, this offset will be the subject of some trial and error.

The thick red lines along the x-axis indicate heating demand, so you can see a sustained burst to get the room up to temperature and then small bursts to top it up.
