My trial of Blogo has finished. In some respects it's really nice.
It's got a nice simple interface, a decent editor, and a useful image uploader which resizes on the fly.
But there are two deal killers for me.
1) It insists on uploading all posts as scheduled and relying on MT having scheduled posting configured. Which I don't because I can't be bothered to eff-around setting up chron jobs.
2) It insists on uploading all images into site root with no obvious means to put them somewhere sensible. This will get old really quickly, since I can't guarantee unique image names in every blogging session and anyway, I really don't want the clutter in my site root. It's taken me an hour to sort out the mess from the last few days.
